MY STORY
Before I wrote stories, I collected them.
I grew up in a small coastal town where everyone knew the shape of everyone else’s life. Stories were everywhere—in the silences at Sunday dinner, in the names carved into the old pier, in the way my grandmother spoke about the past.
I studied literature in Boston, worked in publishing in New York, and spent years helping other writers find the heart of their books before I found the courage to write my own.
Today, I live near the sea with my family, an unruly garden, and more books than shelves. I still believe the best stories begin with a question we cannot stop asking.
A Few Things I Believe

Home is something we carry.

Small moments hold the biggest truths.
03
A good story should leave a door open.
