Stories That Stay With You
The story follows Elias Thorne, a seemingly ordinary man living a struggling life on Earth who carries a secret that connects him to another world. Once a powerful wielder of Aether in the world of Silvanthium, Elias has spent years trying to escape the legacy of his family and the mysterious forces that once hunted him. But the barrier between Earth and Silvanthium-the Veil-is beginning to fracture.
“A tender, luminous novel about the places that shape us—and the courage it takes to return.”
— WAYNE GIDLEY, AUTHOR OF THE STATIC AND THE STORM
THE STORY
A homecoming.
A hidden letter.
One last summer.
When strange visitors begin tracking Elias and his dormant abilities awaken, he is pulled back into a conflict spanning multiple worlds. Alongside allies including Angela, Walker, Pepper, and Sarafin, Elias must confront the Hunters, uncover the truth behind his parents and the ancient Order, and understand why he may be the key to protecting-or destroying-the Veil.
As the Chains holding reality together begin to fall and an ancient threat emerges, Elias faces a choice between running from his past and accepting the responsibility of his extraordinary power. The fate of Earth, Silvanthium, and the worlds beyond the Veil ultimately rests on whether he can master the power within him before those hunting him reach their goal.
Atmospheric and deeply felt, The Space Between Seasons asks whether we can ever truly leave the places that made us.
